Our research focuses on cognitive processes
involved in visual search, inductive reasoning, graph
comprehension and human computer interaction. We are also
interested in testing oculomotor functions in neurological
patients. We use eye-tracking-techniques, which allow us to
monitor the sequence of information selection and acquisition.
Recording eye movements is a method which provides a rich
and detailed description of the ongoing and moment-by-moment
processing.

Equipment
We have two labs equipped with Eyelink I and Eyelink
II eye-tracking systems by SR
Research. They use infrared video-monitoring at
a sampling
rate of 250 - 500 Hz.
